The 16th Beijing Aviation Exhibition was opened on Sep. 16th, and a design scheme effect drawing for Wing-Loong II Unmanned Aerial System was unveiled. Developed by Chengdu Aircraft Design & Research Institute (CADI), Wing-Loong II is an upgraded version of Wing-Loong I (Yilong I UAV).

Wing-Loong II Drone has better aerodynamic configuration layout, airframe structure and airborne system, and has better flight performance, payload capability, Multi-sensor integrating ability, data transmission and control ability, and can adapt to various assignments under complex circumstances.

Wing-Loong II Drone has SAR, and can shoot laser guided artillery projectiles and laser-guided bombs. It can be armed with 12 missiles.
