Chinese army’s last winter supplies arrive on China-India front

At the time of the confrontation between China and India on the border, Chinese state media released on December 9 the scene of the transport convoy of the Sichuan-Tibet Military Station of the Tibet Military Region bringing the last batch of winter supplies to the border defense.

“It took more than two months and the last batch of winter stocks arrived at the border defense of Tibet.” According to Chinese Media Guancha.cn on December 10, several convoys of the Chinese Army alternately traveled back and forth on the 2,100-kilometer Sichuan-Tibet line, crossing 21 snow-capped mountains over 4,000 meters above sea level on the way.

The mission lasted a week, and the PLA transport convoy finally replenished all winter supplies. So far, after more than two months, the PLA’s Sichuan-Tibet military depot has completed its transportation tasks for 16 consecutive years. As the cold winter approaches, thousands of tons of materials have been transported to the frontier line.

Prior to this, the Chinese media “Liberation Army Daily” disclosed that all Chinese outposts above 3,000 meters above sea level have built large oxygen stations, on-board generators, and hyperbaric oxygen chambers. The Chinese army has also developed portable generators, steel cylinders, and even portable hyperbaric oxygen chamber and chemical generator for individual soldiers.

Hong Kong’s “South China Morning Post” pointed out that China has also used drones to transport winter supplies and equipment such as sheepskin boots and mechanical exoskeleton suits to help soldiers perform tasks in extremely cold temperatures., and China has significant advantages over the Indian military in terms of material supply, infrastructure, and logistics.
