Tibet Military Region’s Z-20 makes first public appearance

The official WeChat of the Tibet Military Region of the Chinese Army “Plateau Soldiers” released a post on the retirement of the super air mechanics on December 12, with pictures and videos showing that China’s new homemade general-purpose helicopter Z-20 has been equipped to a brigade of the army aviation corps of the Tibet military region, and made its first public appearance in the same screen with Z-10 fighters.

The post also revealed that “The veteran comrades are all proficient in more than 3 types of helicopters, and they are also the first witnesses of the growth and development of the army aviation unit based on the plateau.”

In the background screen of the released pictures, although it is mosaicked, it can still be seen that the Z-20, Z-10, and Mi-17 helicopters appeared in the same screen. And in a video posted, the figure of Z-20 can be clearly seen, which is thought to be “much better than UH-60 Black Hawk“.

According to analyst Yanbingchang, this is the first time that Z-20 made its public appearance in the Army Aviation Unit of the Tibet Military Region, and it was also the second army aviation brigade of our army to make a public appearance with Z-20 helicopters. Just a few days ago, the CCTV Military Channel reported on a certain air assault brigade of the 75th Army and exposed Z-20 helicopters equipped to the brigade.
