Pakistani Prime Minister boards J-10CE fighter

The Pakistan Air Force held a ceremony to receive the first six J-10CEs in Kamra on March 11, with Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan in attendance. Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan posted a video of the receiving ceremony of six J-10CEs on official social media on March 11, showing Imran Khan boarding a J-10CE in service accompanied by many people.

“J-10CE has been exported to Pakistan for the first time”, its manufacturer Aviation Industry Corporation of China (AVIC) said, “which marked that China’s new generation of aviation main battle equipment has officially entered the Pakistan Air Force, realizing the export of China’s new generation of aviation main battle equipment of an organized system, which is another important milestone of China’s aviation high-tech equipment export. Now, the J-10CE fighter officially delivered to Pakistan Air Force will become a brand-new chapter of cooperation between China and Pakistan in the field of aviation defense after K-8 and JF-17.”

According to public information, the J-10CE is an all-weather, single-engine, single-seat, multi-purpose third-generation fighter developed independently by AVIC, with strong system coordination, advanced over-the-horizon multi-target attack in a strong electromagnetic confrontation environment, and multi-mode precision strike on the ground; excellent medium and low altitude maneuvering combat, supersonic flight, short takeoff and landing, large combat radius, long-range and air fueling capability; equipped with advanced integrated avionics and weapon systems, and strong external weapon capability.

The J-10CE fighter made its first public appearance at the 6th Dubai Airshow in 2019, followed by another public display at the 13th Zhuhai Airshow China in 2021.
