Taiwan deploys new anti-stealth radar in Taiwan Strait

Taiwan’s military reportedly deployed an unidentified new radar system to the Penghu Islands in the Taiwan Strait, a radar that has never been revealed before and is not available in the public catalog of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) of Taiwan.

Taiwan’s “Youth Daily” recently released a report and photos about the radar and then quickly deleted them. It was reported that the radar is a receiver for a multi-base anti-stealth radar developed by Taiwan’s CAS, which did previously exhibit an S-band dual-base passive radar, but it is different from the new radar deployed this time. The Czech Republic had helped Taiwan develop an anti-stealth radar based on its Vera radar, which caused outrage in China.
