At 9:00 local time on Dec. 6, 84 Chinese officers and soldiers participating in the Sino-Vietnamese “Peaceful Rescue-2021” joint security exercise took road maneuvers to cross the border through Dongxing port and arrived at the exercise area in Mong Cai City, Quang Ninh Province, Vietnam. The exercise will officially begin on December 10, according to Chinese media reports.
From the photos, the Chinese troops participating in the exercise were wearing new-style woodland starry camouflage and new-style combat boots, in contrast to the Vietnamese troops wearing old-style uniforms.
