According to a recent report on the official site of the Chinese military, a brigade of the Eastern Theater Air Force organized a multi-batch flight training on Feb. 16. In the pictures, the “Du Fengrui heir” unit’s J-16 fighters, equipped with two indigenous WS-10 engines, carrying PL-15 medium- and long-range air-to-air missiles and PL-10 close-range air-to-air missiles on combat readiness duty in the Taiwan Strait, took off for training.

The unit participating in the exercise is the “Du Fengrui heir” unit, which was transferred from the original Division 14 Brigade 40 Squadron 1 “Du Fengrui Squadron” and is the main force on the front line of the Taiwan Strait.
