In a recent talk show hosted by China’s CCTV channel, the test pilot of J-20’s first flight Li Gang recalled the scene then.
On the day of J-20’s maiden flight in January 2011, many military fans chose the best observation point in the early hours of morning. Some even climbed to the tree.
Talking about the experience of driving J-20 for the first time, Li Gang said: “It’s so cool, it’s just a short time, it’s not enough!”
In the eyes of Li Gang, J-20 stealth fighter is a dreamy fighter.
“J-20’s cockpit is not only spacious and simple, but is well laid out. It’s modern with buttons for both software and hardware. The operation is like playing games on a mobile phone, it’s very fast to launch a missile after spotting a target,” said Li Gang.
