November 11, 2021 marks the 72nd anniversary of the founding of the Chinese Air Force, and 2021 marks the 70th anniversary of the recruitment of the first Chinese female pilots. Today, China has become one of the countries with the most female pilots in the world, according to a recent article released by Chinese military media.
The article highlights Chinese Air Force JH-7 female pilot Gao Puyu, who has been described as a “tall thundering rose” and includes several photos of her.
According to the article, Gao Puyu has flown the “Flying Leopard” (JH-7 fighter bomber) safely for nearly 1,000 hours since she entered the combat sequence of the Air Force in the Northern Theater of China.
