Amidst rising tensions in the South China Sea, three of China’s 10,000-ton large destroyers and other vessels are conducting several days of combat training, including simulations where these large destroyers serve as supply ships.

After arriving in the target area, a training fleet from the Southern Theater Command Navy, consisting of three Type 055 missile destroyers (Xianyang, Zunyi, and Yan’an), and the Type 052C missile destroyer Haikou, along with several other main battle ships, began rapid maneuvers and took advantageous positions to form a comprehensive defensive formation. All combat systems were put into a first-level combat deployment, and precise strikes were carried out on surface targets.

After neutralizing surface threats, multiple unidentified aerial targets were detected approaching. The fleet prepared to counterattack. The warships quickly adjusted their formations and organized a coordinated defense against the enemy targets. Upon successfully shooting down the targets, the carrier-based helicopters took off to conduct joint training with the fleet.

The exercise lasted six days and five nights. During this period, the three Type 055 large destroyers also conducted simulated at-sea replenishment training, comprehensively testing the ships’ wartime replenishment capabilities. The Xianyang acted as a supply ship to replenish the other two large destroyers, creating a scenario where the three Type 055 destroyers sailed side by side. The Type 055 is China’s first 10,000-ton displacement destroyer.

On paper, 055 is quite impressive. On paper that is.
    In war, not so much.
After USA wins in Ukraine & Gaza, it will have china’s head on the chopping board.

US pacific forces (now INDOPACOM) have extensive kinds of offensive weapons to take care of assets exactly like 055 warships.
Harpoon missile, Tomahawk, NSM, LRASM, SM-6, JSOW, HARM, AARGM and soon, HACM, HALO, PrSM & many others.

055 thus requires backup from satellites. Ship (onboard )sensors surely won’t survive US weaponry. Therefore fast launched rockets hurling VLEO SATs to protect the ships during wartime really really needed.

Time reveals truths that even the blind can see, such as the fate of Ukraine’s allies facing Russian forces and the IDF’s futile pursuit of victory in Gaza despite unwavering US weapons and support.
Added to this is the failure of the US Navy to destroy the Houthi forces in Yemen and prevent them from bombing the Hebrew state.
Considering all of the above and the results of the Vietnam and Korean wars, it’s easy to imagine China’s ultimate victory in a direct conflict with Uncle Sam, because the arrogance of a 250-year-old people cannot compete with the intelligence and wisdom of a 4,000 or 5,000-year-old civilization.

AMERICAN EMPIRE IS FINISHED, GET OVER IT. Look how the Houthis keep shooting down reaper drones, firing missiles at American warships and into Israel soil and there is nothing US can do about it. Regarding Ukraine Trump already said Russia won the War. Even Taliban kicked GI Joes out of Afganistan. AMERICA stands no chance against the PLA.
