Kanwa Defense Review recently said small batch trial production of J-20 Stealth Fighter will probably begin in 2016, judging from the progress of infrastructures in Chengdu. And the annual output of J-20 stealth fighter will not be less than 14 to 18, the amount of J-10 fighter each year.
Kanwa said new docks and parking aprons for J-20 stealth fighter had been completed in 2014. And construction of new production facilities have been started in 2014 and 2015, they are probably used for new aircraft production line. J-20 stealth fighters are just 175 meters far from the new factory in most times.
Construction of the infrastructures for producing J-20 stealth fighter will end by 2015, and small batch production of J-20 will begin in 2016. And the two production lines will be able to produce 14 to 18 J-20 stealth fighters annually, just like J-10 fighter.
