According to China’s CCTV Military Channel, the “International Military Games-2021” opened on August 23. There are 33 projects in total, which will be hosted by 12 countries including China, Russia, Belarus, and Iran.
According to reports, the Chinese Air Force sent a total of 11 fighters of the J-10B, J-16, H-6K, Y-20, and Y-9 fighters. Among them, the J-10B, J-16, and Y-20 made their debut in the international arena.
On August 27, a set of high-definition details photos of the Chinese Air Force J-16 fighter jets taken by Russian photographers were released on the Chinese social platform Weibo.
In the pictures, the J-16 jet is equipped with new Chinese-made Taihang engines – improved WS-10 engines. The shape and material of the engine’s tail nozzle have changed from before, and the flame color has changed from reddish-orange to bluish-purple.
Some military fans said that the engine of the J-16 fighter jet was similar to the large M-88, and the latest improvement of the Taihang engine is now similar to the large EJ-200 engine.
In this competition, the Chinese Air Force sent a team to Russia to participate in the “aviation darts” competition and the “airborne platoon” paratrooper team competition, and at the same time to participate in the “clear sky” portable air defense missile team competition in China.

Participating officers and soldiers from 6 countries including China, Russia, Belarus, Egypt, Uzbekistan, and Venezuela competed there.
