Citing a report in the Hong Kong media that the so-called “connecting with the CCP and parliamentarians through donations to the political circles, and the donations came from mainland China and Hong Kong”, Leung said that if this is an act of espionage, there are too many British spies in Hong Kong, they are directly and indirectly donating money as barristers, professors, NGOs, to reach out to legislators and promote the “agenda” of Western.
