Recently, a photo on the internet reveals that multiple parts of a China H-6G bomber are covered by black coating. Analysts say that H-6 bomber should be used for stealth performance test in some parts, or as a stealth demonstrator of the next generator Chinese-made stealth strategic bomber.

Analysts say that during the 1980s, USA also modified its old B-1 strategic bomber to make it stealthy in some parts, in face of the powerful air defense of Soviet Union.

But other analyst think those black parts on China’s H-6G bomber might be just normal coatings, indicating that the aircraft has just been repaired, and apart from the color change, there is no sign of stealth modification in other parts of the strategic bomber.
